CCM’s Axis line comes in to replace the fan favorite Premier line of goalie gear. Although the name has changed, CCM has used some similar technology in the new AXIS collection that goalies have come to know and love. Goalies can expect that same balanced and lightweight design from previous models.

Source Exclusive Upgrades & Modifications
The Source for Sports Exclusive version of the CCM A1.9 goalie blocker features one change to the blocker from the catalog model. The Axis A1.9 Source Exclusive Blocker has been upgraded with D30 Index Finger Protection, which is not featured in the catalog version at all. You also get access to custom colors that are exclusive to Source for Sports.

External Material
CCM uses Speed Skin material on the AXIS A1.9 blocker, currently one of the lightest skins used in the goalie world. CCM is taking a “don’t fix what isn’t broken” approach when it comes to the skin on their gear.

Palm
The AXIS A1.9 blocker comes stock with a reinforced Nash palm providing goalies with optimal feel and protection.

Side Hand Protection
CCM has incorporated a laminated dual-density foam blocking board with PE that provides increased rebound and directional control off the blocker face into the AXIS A1.9 blocker. Additionally, there is further HD foam wrapped in Speed Skin for optimal impact protection around the fingers. Lastly, the sidewalls are reinforced with stiff foam and have curved impact finger protection.

Cuff
CCM’s adjustable 3-piece cuff on the AXIS A1.9 blocker provides you with the freedom of movement that is necessary to make those difficult blocker saves a little more manageable.

Hand Protection
The Axis A1.9 Source Exclusive Blocker has curved high-impact finger protection, with upgraded D30 Smart Material. This provides an additional layer of protection, making sure your thumb and fingers are fully protected while finding that comfortable fit. D30 in the index finger is a Source for Sports exclusive upgrade that is not found in the catalog model of the A1.9 Blocker.

Colors Available
CCM’s AXIS A1.9 Source for Sports Blocker comes in some standard catalog colors, as well as some exclusive custom colorways. Colors offered are; All Black, All White, White/White/Black/Black, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vegas Golden Knights.
